GORILLA IN UGANDA
IMPENETRABLE BWINDI NATIONAL PARK
In
Uganda, the Bwindi impenetrable forest is the sanctuary for
almost half the world's population of Mountain Gorilla's (
About 330 of 600 ), which is the rarest race of Gorilla.
Established as a safe habitat for several families of
mountain gorilla , it is now the location of an an important
scientific conservation programm. Gorilla Tracking visits
are limited to small groups.

GORILLA TRACKING IN UGANDA
This is the home to nearly half of the only
remaining Mountain Gorillas in the world holding
about 350 of these rare creatures.
Transfer to Kampala: This is by public bus
and there are many companies in this service
provision.
Day 1: Drive from Campala to Mbarara for
lunch, then to buhoma where the park headquarters
is. Dinner
and overnight at Buhoma Community Restcamp or Bwindi
View Restcampa.
Day 2: After breakfast, track the Gorillas in
the forest and this might take some hiking to higher
levels of the mountain through stinging plants that
require good dressing .It is also cold due to
altitude and thicket. Reaching them stay with them
for one hour and return to the base camp for dinner
and overnight.
Day 3: After breakfast, return to Kampala
with lunch on the way arriving late in the afternoon
where the tour ends.
- Mountain Gorillas are an endangered species,
living in remote and ancient forest borders between
Uganda and its western neighbours.
- Permits are strictly limited and advance planning
& booking is strongly recommended

NGAMBA ISLAND CHIMPANZEE SANCTUARY- DEPARTS DAILY
Drive
to Entebbe and Board a small boat to visit the 100 acre
island of natural forest. Here you find orphaned
Chimpanzee and you can assist in their feeding. Enjoy a
picnic lunch and return to the mainland for transfer
back to Kampala in the afternoon.
