Shimoni Reef Hotel

IF you are staying at the Kenya coast you are either on the north coast, the south, or on Mombasa island (unlikely on a package holiday). We are located in a village called Shimoni lying about 80 KM south of Mombasa. If you are staying in Watamu or Malindi you are too far away for a day trip unless you are open to arranging an air transfer (bring your own helicopter!). The following is to give you some idea of the hotels verses traveling time to Dolphin Dhow. If your hotel is not listed please get in touch for advice. The drive is interesting and takes you through coconut and cashew plantations into the heart of rural Kenya. We try and get you to Shimoni for about 9:00 a.m. - so you can work backwards to see approx. what time to order your early morning call.
